As a wedding planner and coordinator based in Finger Lakes New York, we have the honor of creating beautiful wedding experiences within the Greater Rochester region expanding to Buffalo, Syracuse, Ontario, Canandaigua, Naples, and Geneva. There are so many wonderful venues and vendors within the area, that it can be overwhelming to those just beginning their wedding planning, especially without a planner to guide them. If you’re looking for somewhere in the Finger Lakes just outside of Rochester, NY to hold your perfect wedding, than you need to consider Wren’s Roost Wedding & Event Barn! We absolutely adore this venue from the inside out and these are a few features that we believe make it one of the BEST wedding venues in the area.
The inside of the barn’s modern yet rustic-chic atheistic makes for a bright backdrop to begin your special day. With the minimalist interior of the whitewashed walls full of natural light, your photographer and videographer will love capturing dreamy photos and footage of you in the bridal loft as you get ready or awaiting for your ceremony to begin. It also makes for great intimate place for first looks or detailed bridal portraits.
The glamorous timber frame pavilion reception space makes for a comfortable place to eat, drink, and be married seating 150 guests. With the farmhouse tables and rustic chairs that are included with the venue rental, any color pallet or style a couple may have for their wedding decor will look incredible. Just beyond it is a space for yard games, a cozy fire pit, and an incredible view, especially at sunset. These features are perfect for couples that want to have a fun and laid back wedding day vibe.
Once dinner is finished, moving the party inside the barn is a great way to utilize the space. It makes for awesome photos with everyone dancing or enjoying the bar right off the back porch.

Working with Wren’s Roost Wedding & Event Barn, it’s always exciting and an eye opening experience of how unique each and every wedding really is. With understanding this fact, the venue welcomes all outside vendors chosen by the couple’s based off their vision and budget to bring their dream wedding to life. Because of this I’ve been introduced to some of the most incredible wedding vendors in the area. There isn’t a more breathtaking scenic venue for an outdoor event to celebrate with up to 150 of your closest loved ones. The waterfront view with Finger Lakes’ gorgeous hills in the background of the venues arbor always make for a picturesque ceremony location. It truly makes every wedding unforgettable.
You’re always free to rent an arbor from another vendor if you choose to exchange vows inside the barn or under the pavilion for a more intimate ceremony or for a different aesthetic. In the case of rain those alternatives are great options.
